Bryanston, let’s help Xenophobia victims with blankets!

I have started a blanket drive with the aim of providing blankets to those displaced victims of the recent Xenophobia attacks. I will be collecting knitted squares (please provide your own wool) from residents and businesses throughout Sandton until the end of May, when I will be sowing the squares into blankets and handing out to various organisations while it is still winter. Many displaced victims will be moving up from the KZN to Gauteng and will be without homes or basic amenities. Let’s at least provide them with blankets, especially the children, for winter.

I appeal to you, our generous residents of Bryanston, to help out with this good cause.
